Description
threezeros MDLX Optimus Prime (Comic Book Edition) is a reimagining of the classic Autobot leader, inspired by his appearance in the Energon Universe comic book. This edition features a new head sculpt, battle-damaged windshield decals on the chest, and weathered paint effects throughout.
This version also includes an interchangeable broken shoulder piece that can be swapped for Megatron's severed right arm with the Fusion Canon. MDLX Optimus Prime stands approximately 7 inches (17.8 cm) tall, has approximately 48 points of articulation, and a die-cast metal frame.
Accessory elements include an Ion Blaster, an Energon Axe, the Autobot Matrix of Leadership, and six different interchangeable hands (a posing hand, a fist, a left hand to hold the Energon Axe, a left hand to hold the Ion Blaster, a left hand to hold the Matrix of Leadership, and a pointing finger). Also included are three interchangeable right hands for Megatron's severed arm.
The MDLX series captures the essence of threezero's renowned DLX line on a smaller scale with high articulation and improved durability at an affordable price. The design, reimagined by threezero Art Director Kelvin Sau, blends iconic 1980s features with threezero's hyper-detailed mechanical aesthetic. The MDLX figures utilize threezero's die-cast zinc alloy and engineering plastic frame systems to preserve tactile playability and durability, complete with the weathered paintwork that is a hallmark of threezero.
