Description

Ginkei, the 2P player's ship from the influential shooter Ikaruga, is now reissued as a plastic model kit for advanced modelers in 1/144 scale.

The model's prototype was created as a garage kit by sculptor Hiroshi Iseya, and the shape was revised and detailed by the game's original designer Yasushi Suzuki. The new kit includes more complex sculpted details intended for advanced model building, allowing for a more faithful reproduction.

The small wings can be extended or retracted by swapping parts, and the landing gear can be recreated with interchangeable components. The fuselage pattern is reproduced through die-casting and decals. The kit also includes an exclusive rubble base designed by Yasushi Suzuki, and the packaging art is drawn by him.
