Description
The Dororo & Hyakkimaru Elite Fandom Statue retells Osamu Tezuka's classic tale in a stunning polystone statue inspired by the 2019 anime adaptation. The statue depicts Hyakkimaru, the dismembered warrior, and the young thief Dororo in a dramatic scene at the walls of Fort Banmon, with translucent spirits crawling through the wall's wreckage. Hyakkimaru's prosthetic arms are functionally designed to be able to be shot off like in the anime, revealing metal blades mounted underneath; the same detail is also evident when you choose the alternate portrait where he holds the detached prosthetic arms with his teeth. The model also includes interchangeable parts so he can bare his forearm blades or use the interchangeable katana against Kyubi spirits.
The base is meticulously crafted with temple features and woodblock accent sculptures, and includes miniature replicas of twelve demon idols — six of them already destroyed to symbolize Hyakkimaru's struggle to reclaim his body. Dororo is safely positioned behind Hyakkimaru, next to two significant Easter eggs: the Daigo family talisman and a headless statue of the Goddess of Mercy.
