Description

The Vanguard Leader is a Valiant variation kit with a focus on the concept of a commander or instructor. The kit includes two types of face parts: a normal mecha mask and a bare face part, so the user can mix and match as desired. The face is pre-painted and the eyes are movable, with tools included to adjust the line of sight. The head is mounted like other mask types and is compatible with Sousai Shojo Teien models.

The kit also includes a mecha mask version with adjustable line of sight, as well as a cosplay-style exarmor outfit similar to Ruby Eye. The headgear is removable and has 3mm connection points; the bright blue visor on the hat is also removable. The receiver unit on the side of the head has two modes: active and passive.

The front, back and side parts of the armor consist of six individually adjustable parts, giving the miniskirt a wide range of movement and allowing for aggressive action poses. The sleeve armor can be removed and replaced with shackles. The weapons in the kit follow the instructor concept: a short whip and a long whip. The long whip is built around an articulated wire attached to a grip, which allows it to be rolled up and attached to mounting parts.

The core of the series is the approximately 50 points of articulation throughout the body. The six parts of the miniskirt can be moved separately, allowing for a variety of posing possibilities — from squats and cross-legged sit-ups to high kicks and dynamic weapon poses.
