Description

Sideshow and Spiral Studio present a new statue in the Titans of the Monsterverse series: King Ghidorah (2019). Our goal has been to create the most accurate and definitive version of this character, and our artists have worked to ensure that every detail is close to the film's reference material.

We used an internal skeleton to make King Ghidorah 100 % anatomically accurate based on the film’s production — everything from how he moves on all fours to the muscle contractions, serpentine scales, and blood vessels in the texture of the wing membranes. Each wing membrane is carefully folded for a natural look. For durability, we inserted metal rod exoskeletons inside the wing bones to ensure the wings don’t bend or sag over time.
