Description

Known for their ruthless brutality, the World Eaters were one of the first Legions to break free from the Emperor and fall to the forces of Chaos. Their soldiers were augmented with the fearsome Butcher's Nails implants—cybernetic modifications that awaken a bloodthirsty battle mania and transform them into near-unpredictable fighting machines. The Legion's unity was shattered in violence, but their fanatical worship of the Chaos god Khorne spread through devastation and massacre.

Angron grew up as an enslaved gladiator in the bloody arenas of Nuceria and had already been fitted with the Butcher's Nails before his rescue. When he was later reunited with his brothers, he felt a burning resentment against the Emperor for abandoning them. When Horus rebelled, Angron was one of the first to seek solace in the dark promises of chaos. Now the former Primarch has been transformed into a demon prince and sweeps through the Imperium as a living scourge in the service of Khorne, spreading death and destruction.
