Kanegon, the 'Coin Monster', is one of the most iconic kaiju in the Ultraman universe. Originally a boy, Kaneda Kaneo, he was transformed by a cocoon and became Kanegon with a head resembling a coin purse and a body like a Martian. His bulging eyes, zipper mouth and spiky head shape his characteristic appearance – and his body shimmers like coins.
