The MPG (Masterpiece G Style Generation) series introduces Style Generation — a new interpretation of transformation difficulty, proportions, detail, mobility and weapon play. First up in the series is Optimus Prime.

Transformation is at the core of the concept, and this design strives for intuitive vehicle-to-robot transformations for repeatable play and viewing experiences. By incorporating design elements and essence from previous Convoy/Optimus Prime versions, the team has strived for elegant proportions that will appeal to fans across generations and regions.

The model features many details that enhance the value. An easy-to-maneuver structure and jointless construction allow for more dynamic poses. The rear wheels are equipped with dual tires — familiar from real trucks — which are visible even in robot mode for a complete transformation without unnecessary parts. Accessories include weapon motifs from various scenes where Optimus Prime has appeared over the past 40 years. Each joint uses a 5mm joint, giving the classic feel of Transformers products and the ability to customize your Optimus Prime.
