Description

This dynamic 1:6 scale statue depicts Faramir on horseback as he leads the forces of Gondor in the doomed attack on Orc-controlled Osgiliath. Faramir is depicted at full gallop, sword drawn and mouth open in a battle cry. The horse's anatomy, muscles, mane and tail are detailed, while Faramir's armor and equipment follow the movement of the intense charge.

The statue is digitally sculpted by Gary Hunt and features a grassy base hand sculpted by Shaun Bolton. Original armor and props have been used as reference. The result is a detailed and emotionally charged interpretation of Faramir's courage and sense of duty in The Lord of the Rings.
