Description
In Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Sergeant Hound appears in the season 5 episode "The Jedi Who Knew Too Much" as a prominent sergeant in the Coruscant Guard. Trained in massif tracking, Hound often works alongside his companion to track down fugitives, including Jedi Ahsoka Tano.
Hot Toys now presents Sergeant Hound in 1/6th scale, recreated with great detail. The figure features a helmeted head sculpt with realistic weather effects and comes with seven interchangeable hands — including relaxed hands, hand on leash and pointing finger — for a variety of poses.
Hound's white and dark gray armor with red stripes is meticulously reproduced and is combined with a cloth undersuit, tool belt with Kama and pistol pocket, and battle-worn tall boots. Armament consists of a beam rifle and two beam pistols.
The included action figure features a detailed harness, metal chain, leash and handle. The animal has an articulated jaw and slightly movable front and back legs to portray the relationship between soldier and tracker. The design for the action figure draws on both The Clone Wars and live-action-inspired interpretations, striking a balance between animation character and realism. Everything comes on a specially designed base with the Star Wars logo and Hound's nameplate.
