Description
A lifelike presence. A living world among the stars. Kara's journey, reproduced in 1/4 scale.
The comic book that inspired the second film in the new DC Universe, ”Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow,” now joins the Real Elite Masterline series.
Struggling with her identity and sometimes driven by her emotions, Supergirl always keeps moving forward. Inspired by author Tom King's deeply human portrayal of Kara Zor-El, this statue features scenes from the planets she visits, brought together in a collage that recreates the road movie atmosphere of her journey in 1/4 scale.
Her dramatic cloak spreads with an ethereal flow, while the realistic skin tones convey a sense of warmth. Her quietly floating presence is created by combining Bilquis Evely’s artistic style with techniques from the Real Elite Masterline. The result is a new interpretation with an appeal all its own, distinct from both the comic book and its feature film adaptation.
The custom-designed base weaves together imagery from various cover illustration artworks. Ruthye waits for the space shuttle with her sword in hand, surrounded by drifting clouds of galactic gas and hanging alien plants. Each element has been sculpted with great care, while the vibrant colors inspired by Matheus Lopes bring memories of the journey to life.
”Woman of Tomorrow,” captured at 1/4 scale. This artwork conveys the journey of a human and imperfect Supergirl through refined color and form.
