This year marks the 40th anniversary of Frank Miller's iconic comic book series Batman: The Dark Knight™ Returns. In this classic tale, Superman has become a secret government enforcer. When the Dark Knight returns from retirement to clean up Gotham, a clash between these two giants becomes inevitable. Sideshow and Hot Toys are pleased to present the 1/6th scale Superman™ collectible figure, based on his impressive appearance in Batman: The Dark Knight™ Returns.

The 1/6th scale collectible figure features two newly developed head sculpts that bring the character to life. The first captures his stoic, authoritative expression, while the second features a battle-scarred, clenched expression with blood effects. Taking realism to the next level, both head sculpts feature separate movable eyeballs and a specially applied UV-luminescent reflection effect, allowing collectors to recreate Superman's menacing heat vision under UV light.

Carefully crafted to capture the comic's distinctive, powerful art style, the figure stands approximately 13.5" tall. It features a newly developed muscular body that perfectly portrays Superman's massive physique. Expertly tailored, the costume features a blue suit made of stretchy fabric that accentuates the muscular form, complete with the iconic red-and-yellow Superman symbol on the chest, a yellow belt, and a red cape with embedded steel wire embossed with the yellow Superman symbol for dynamic flying poses.

To recreate the brutal combat and dynamic flight scenes from the series, the figure is equipped with six newly developed interchangeable hands, such as clenched fists, claw gesture hands and flight gesture hands. The figure also comes with key weapons from the series to enhance display options, including a kryptonite dart and a damaged sonic pistol. The presentation is completed with a specially designed figure stand featuring the comic book series logo.
